Who We Are
The York Simcoe Autism Network (YSAN) is a group of organizations with an aligned vision – to build a coordinated, family-centred network that emphasizes an integrated care approach where service providers are working to their strengths to promote service excellence and closing gaps for families from child to youth to adult.
The YSAN is a group of 11 organizations with a history of partnering together to meet the unique needs of children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. The partnership network was formed in response to the new Ontario Autism Program to support families in York Region and Simcoe County. We believe that our ‘whole’ will be greater than the sum of our individual ‘parts’.
As a coordinated service network, we emphasize a holistic approach to service (including diagnostic), focused on evidence-based services and an overall high-quality system of providers that are working to their strengths to promote service excellence and closing gaps for families.
The network is comprised of the following organizations – Catulpa Community Support Services, Children’s Treatment Network, CLH Developmental Support Services, Empower Simcoe, Kerry’s Place Autism Services, Kinark Child and Family Services, Mackenzie Health, Oak Valley Health, Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, York Support Services Network, and York Region.
